Which heads to use?
Alright not sure if you guys seen my thread in which i was trying to figure out what heads i have but i finally got them flowed and now i gotta decide which set to use. I currently have 241 one heads with stock springs and will probably be going with a T2 cam. So which ones?
243 heads with comp springs good to .600 lift or:
Think there patriots:
227cc intake
85cc exhaust
2.02 intake valves
1.57 exhaust
65cc chamber
10 degree locks
145lbs @1.785
365lbs @1.185
Intake cfm Exhaust cfm
.100 69 49
.200 140 106
.300 200 144
.400 251 179
.500 281 200
.600 266? (seems odd) 213
I will have the rest of the specs tomorrow when i pick up the heads. But im not sure which are better as i do not know what the specs are on a 243 head.

Don't forget the PRC LS6 heads. They are priced very comparable, but from there you'll find some big differences. In a perfect world you could hold & flow both brands side by side. With the PRC LS6 heads we fully cnc port the heads & do a cnc valve job with a newen seat & guide machine. From there we hand blend every set of heads & then mill the cylinder heads specifically for the customers combination & camshaft for no additional charge.
Every set of cylinder heads are fully pressure checked including the ports to make 1000% sure the valve jobs seal perfectly for our customers!
It may take us a little extra time to build the PRC cylinder head, but the attention to detail pays off in the long run for our customers!
