Default 5.3 rattle

Hey guys im new to this forum =D got reffered to this website thanks to some friends from Tahoeyukonforum the reason im here is to find out some info on my 5.3. I have a slight knock/rattle which i believe is being produced by a lifter if im wrong please tell me. Now i believe this problem started not long ago cause it would only do it at cold start, but as soon as it would get to running temperature it would go away. But now it seemes like the noise is there to stay. I opened up my oil pan to check if i spun a bearing but everything seems to be ok. Also my oil pressure gauge since i removed it has been acting up and not reading the correct oil pressure.

Check for cracked or broken springs.
