Default Re ringed motor and metal flakes???

Hi i just got my motor done not to long ago, I took it down to bare block had the cylinders quick honed and rebuilt with new rings and all new bearings. The question i am having is after 150 miles i cracked open my oil filter and i got some metal flakes and slivers out of the filter nothing big at all but there was metal... I have heard that with new motors you will get some metal out is this true? my oil pressure is around 43-45 idle and 60 or so when cruising also no weird noises or knocks besides the sewing machine valvetrain but i am assuming that is due to my heads and cam together with my sheet metal valve covers.

Ok cool thank you, there was nothing of a bigger size and i figured if i chewed up a bearing i would see copper flakes and oil pressure would drop

just change the oil after 500 miles thats normal but you dont want the filter to clog up, always put 500 miles on the new engine then replace oil and filter
