Default which motor mounts to use

i am in the process of getting all my parts together for my head and cam. i see that alot of guys on here put poly engine mount in there cars with longtube headders. is there a clearence issue with it. is it easyer to change engine mounts with heads off. what mount are the best. thanks.

You will get opinions on this one,, BUT I have had solid mounts,, You dont want those, They keep it all rigid, Yes, but they make working on the car a complete PITA. I have the polys, there are no clearance issues with them, just like stock. But better, You dont have to remove the heads to swap, but they are a bit challenging, especially if you have some big paws like me.

I have solid and I have had zero problems with them.
