Default what "ls1 grinds" are there out there?

Pardon my ignorance on this matter, but I'm going to see if I can word this the best way I can.

I know you can get a custom grind cam from Comp for ~$250.

What else besides: 220/220 .553/.553 114 LSA would I need to tell them when I order it?

I've heard XER, XH, etc tossed around, what the hell does that mean? The ramp rate?

Call Comp again because there price is closer to $400.........
Im using a Comp XER lobe.....
Call comp and give them all your spec's of your motor and what you want to do with it. then you can go from there...

You are better off IMO going with a sponsor's custom ground cam. Why be a R@D subject when these shops --------> have done most of the R@D for you. You can get an entire install kit and a "proven" grind from any of them.
