Take a look at the Engine Power Systems website for some options.

sounds like you want more of a daily driver friendly cam......tr220, proven on 5.3s and easy on the springs for longevity.......

A torquer is a bit larger for a dd 5.3 imo. I'd go 224r..

Ls1 hotcam is a waste.

Something that will handle the extra lift. A common choice is either the patriot golds or the patriot gold extreme springs... good for 0.650 and 0.660 respectively. usually around 240-270ish or pick up new from people on here anywhere from 200-250 with retainers and such...

go to either TSP or thunder racing website and look at complete cam pkgs for under $600.consider the tr224 or the TSP 224r.the EPS lobes are a little better then the other cams listed,Geoff worked for thunder racing then started his own company.you can also contact Patrick-G for a EPS cam.you can use comp cam 918 springs for most cams under .600 lift. PAC 1218 or 1518 springs are a little better.
