Is this the right plug? Is the plug that is near the center of this photo the correct plug to remove to install the autometer water temperature sender? Also, does anyone know what size hex this is? An 8mm fits but I'm not sure if its a 9mm and I don't have a 9. Thanks.

If this is the bolt you are referring to (just aft of cylinder 8 exhaust port), then it is the correct bolt for the port to the coolant passage through the head.
