What year 5.3 and what vehicle is it in? The LS7 cam does not have a provision for the cam sensor so if it is used in a gen 3 block retaining fuel injection it will require a front mounted cam sensor with the appropriate timing sprocket. This would require that you get a new front cover, the cam sensor, the matching cam sprocket, and a cam sensor extension harness. So you need to add the cost of these parts to whatever you pay for the cam.

All this to get a 211/230 .560/.557 120+4(w/ 1.7 rockers) camshaft that has too much split and too wide an LSA for a 5.3 liter engine. You would be much better off going with an aftermarket cam that better suits your motor.

Edit: Just wanted to add that if you were planning on going carb that this camshaft profile is even worse for that application.
