Default How Far?

Looking to building a 402 stroker(preferably)how far can you actually go on an ls1 bore wise?would it be worth boring the ls1 to a 402 is it even possible?or would it be worth while doing an iron or ls2?any tips/opinions wanted please.

i already have heads/cam for it too so thats not a problem.

Get it re-sleeved to a 427, I did but its an LS6.

hmm,idk if ide want to go that far,kinda wanna keep it a street friendly build,since i cant keeep myself from driving it alot..lol but that woud be pretty nasty tho!and ls6-ls1 not much of a difference correct?

so would i have to resleeve the cylinder walls?i plan on on running11.1:1 or around there.

A 402 stroker typically requires at least 4.005" bore. That's way too much to do with a standard LS1 block. You'd have to resleeve it. If you are set to build a LS1 without sleeving it, you'll want to go with a 383 stroker kit.
