Question What numbers do you think it will make

New member here, but have been reading this forum for awhile.

I have a 98 Formula 6-sp

Old setup was:

lid, hpp-3, T1 cam,TTS headers, 3" Random Tech catback, Isky gold springs, Ti Ret., Hardend Push rods, susp. all the way, ripper shifter.

It put down 378 rwhp and 363 rwtq.

New setup is going to be:

Slp Ram Air, 85mm Maf, ported T.B., smooth bellows, pulley, LS-6 intake, FM-11 on a 112 lsa, offroad Y-pipe, and LS-1 edit done by a pro...

I am hoping for the 400 hp club if not a little more.

Let me know what you think?

Thanks

This is still on stock heads. Wanting to see what I can get out of them before the next mod.....Heads!

Any suggestions!!!

F11 here....but w/TEA 5.3's....and all the bolt ons. I would think you'd see
405/390(ish) on stock heads .... keep us posted!

Do I have to go with the 5.7 heads because of the perimeter bolts?

Or can I go with the 5.3 heads?

Which one would perform the best?
Thanks

And what is the cost going 5.3 heads?

you can get the 5.3's but you'll need the centerbolt vavle covers and the coil pack brackets as well. comes to about 160 or so IIRC.

So, will 5.3 heads perform better than the 5.7 heads?

The cost is no big deal. looking for the best performance!!

FM11 TEA Stg 2 5.3s here. 5.3s have a great exhaust port. Also 5.3s have a smaller chamber for more compression without decking and lost P to V clearance.
