I got 383MTI and stg2 heads ther are from the mti too with Z1 cam and am looking for bigger cam and am thinking about this cam (243/250 .610/.612 114 LSA)
,,where i can buy it from and who had it in there cars.
also do i need to retunne my car after i install this cam.

I don't know of anyone who makes that cam and has them in stock. MTi would be just as good as anyone else at getting you a custom ground cam. Just call them and have them get it ground for you. Anytime you mess with anything major like cam or heads, you need to get re-tuned for the best results.

thanks man. i call them today but they say the bust cam they have for the 383ci is the z1 and i dont like it ineed anather cam that gives more hp and torq.

I have a 244 250 cam with .625 lift on a 112lsa.

Call MMT in Dallas --------------------------------------> sponsor

They will custom grind you anything you want and wont give you **** about "I dont think thats the right cam."

I think you are looking at the T-Rex from Thunder. I bought one but won't be installing it until May. They are putting it is 346ci motors so it will be very fine in a 383.

Like Kumar said earlier, call MMT they will grind you any cam you want. The cam that Kumar is running in his 395 is very similar to what you are looking for. Give them a call they will get you what you want.....

I'm ordering a new cam tomorrow for my 383. I've decided on a 242/242 XER lobe (.610 lift) on a 113+3 lsa (110 icl)

what about going for a 242/250 .595 .595 109 do i have to change my springs i got the MTI HD Dual Valve Spring Package (Includes dual springs, custom titanium retainers & custom spring cup locators. Requires machining of cylinder heads.) dose it work with this cam.
