terry sent me these vavle seals to replace the teflon seals that are currently on the heads...they dont look like the viton seals from how people describe them...

Steve

comp's website is down...???

i found a picture on http://www.ls1f-body.racenet.net/valvetrain.php of a comp cams dual spring package...it contains springs, seats, retainers, and seals...

the seals look exactly like the one in the picture...so i think they are made by comp cams...

Not going to say for sure but the factory 5.3 look very simular if not them. I just installed a set on some 5.3 heads. They all probably look very simular.

Encapselated Vitons. These were used years ago, we got away from them, European and Jap. engines kept on using them. We are now going back to them. Made more then likely by NOK/Freudenburg.

You'd have to ask Terry @ Patriot to be sure what they're made of. You can get that type of seal made in Viton or just plan rubber. I bought a set of Felpro's that looked identical to those and they said Viton on the box. The Felpro exhaust seals were red not black though.
