Default will boring cure piston slap?

will boring and resleaving the block with oversized pistons cure piston slap? mine is very obnoxious and doesn't stop at normal op temps. plus i'm lookin for more ponies anyway.

what are the stock pistons made of? (iron/aluminum) and does that have any effect on expansion?

Boring won't finish it alone, but a good hone and some good pistons will likely take care of it.

yeah get some forged pistons and have a shop bore to specs, from what I understand the piston slap is due to undersized pistons or over bored sleeves.... right?
