Got my FAST 90 on today
Well after a lot of trips to auto parts store or Lowes I finally got it all on and its running.
The car defintely needs a tune I think. It gets up real quick but then has a slight hesitation for a split second and then runs hard again. No codes have been thrown.
Oh and the car has a funky smell to it coming out the exhaust? Doesn't smell like unburnt fuel but maybe its the smell of running real lean?
Either way if you have a C5 and plan on getting a FAST 90 with a LS2 TB.
You're going to need the LS2 TB harness that plugs into the LS1. Youll need some pieces of hosing to extend that small 1/8" line at the back of the engine to the pass rear side of the intake.
The MAP sensor is a real tight fit and you may want to silicone it so it seals better.
The crankcase breather tube that goes into the old LS1 TB, just put a K&N looking type filter breather on the end of it. Mine wouldn't fit so I just connected it to the end of the hose that would have gone into the LS1 TB and zip tied it to the top of the intake.
Im going to have dyno numbers saturday, we will see what a FAST picks up over a LS6 intake on a heads only LS1 C5
