Default Crank Question

I have an lq9 which i'm gonna mate up to a 4l80e. I have read the lq9 spacing is different on the flywheel to mount to the torque converter.

If i order a 4" stroker crank, do i need to specify its for a truck? Is the crank physically longer, or is it just a spacer? Because i want it longer like the truck setup so i can get any regular truck torque convert and it will all bolt up easily to the tranny.

It's just a spacer.
