ls3 l92 swap >>>what am i missing<<<
I will be getting a new 408 from tsp in a couple weeks and plan to run alot of boost through it. I have gotten some suggestions from some pretty knowledgeable guys that i should go ls3intake and unported l92 heads.
I know ill need new rocker arms, trottle body, fuel rails, injectors,
But what about:::
1. knock sensors??? do they remain in the factory(ls1,ls2, ls6) location or will they not fit under the new ls3 intake?
2. electrical connectors?? conversion harness ls6 > ls3 throttle body ?
3. Plan to reuse my ARP head studds, will they work on l92 heads??

1) The knock sensor in a Gen III iron block sit down in the valley cover. They don't interfere at all with the LS3 intake.
2) What throttle body are you going to run? Torquerushperformance.com has the adaptor harness to use a 90mm ls2/ls3/ls7 dbw throttle body with the older style dbw connector.
3)Yes, the ARP studs will work with the L92 heads. Same bolt pattern
