Default Replacing #4 piston@63k

Long story short, number 4 intake valve spring broke into 3 pieces. The rocker arm broke, guide is shattered, value bent and the lifter snap ring popped off. Oh.. And the guide boss is cracked!
I just pulled the head, and the piston was hit pretty hard. Their is a bunch of indentations on the surface. Also the Valve touched the cylinder wall, so the wall has a little scuff mark. My finger nail will not catch it, and the wall is smooth..
I am pulling the engine to replace the piston. I will balance the new piston and replace the Rod if necessary. Rod bolts and Rod bearings as well.

I plan on checking the bore taper and using a 400 flex hone if in spec. I can still see the factory honing marks and do not plan on doing a complete rebuild.

New piston, new piston rings, Rod bolts and bearings for #4
Ai stage II 243 heads with dual springs.

Should I just replace the piston and reuse my stock rings and such if everything checks out? Or should I just hone the scuff marks out and replace the rings? I'm pretty sure the marks will come out.

My pac beehive springs had about 40 passes on them with 12k miles. I need to check their pressure. 6800 shifts!

I would at least bring the crosshatch back and replace the rings as well...

Thanks. The block and rotating assembly is looking spot on at this point, and the piston is OK other then the marks. The Rod, bearings and piston skirt survived! I don't think the rings will know the scratches ate there. I will check bore taper and flex hone for new rings if the taper is acceptable. If the range .015" IM not even going to sweat it. These liners seem to be tough and slow to wear.

Yeah hone it and slap new rings on, I'd personally replace the piston if it's been hit, stock pistons can be picked up cheap.
