Default 243 cnc heads whats a good cam

i have 99 ls1 with a set of 243 cnc heads i was trying to see if a 574 to 584 lift would be to big some say 570 lift is all you can go but i thought you could go up 600 lift or what would be good for street/strip

Uhhhh, you need to pay a professional to spec a cam. There's WAY more to it than lift...

Duration affects piston to valve clearance more than lift.

It depends on if the heads are milled or not as well, but unless that cam has super high duration those lifts are relatively low...you still need good springs
