Default Titanium vs. Steel Retainers

Which is better in a daily driver that is occasionally ran down the track? What are the Pro's and Con's to each? Is there any perfomance benifits one vs. the other?

Titanium will buy you about 200-300 RPM over steel. Titanium will wear faster on the street than steel. Titanium will help with valve control as a result of the lighter weight, but with beehive springs the weight difference is smaller as a result of the retainer size. Personally, I would go with the steel unless you have valve control issues.
