Default LQ4 build..need some opinions

With tax return right around the corner I'm about ready to get my Goat back on the road. Here's what I have in mind.. *already have from previous LS1

-Fresh LQ4 Shortblock
-*PRC 5.3 stg 2.5 heads
-*Ported FAST 90
-*Kooks LTs
-TSP MS3
-100-125 Shot of nitrous

Now my question is, I know that worked 862 heads and the MS3 is a stout combo on an LS1 but what about the 6.0L? With the 862 heads my compression should be right around 10.8:1..with the dished pistons of the LQ4 (-8cc?) would I still need to flycut for the MS3? I'm looking for 450-475 rwhp n/a. Also, this will be going into a 6 spd car.. Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

IMHO, a custom cam is probably going to do you better if you have it specced for your combination (as it is not a TYPICAL setup going on a 6.0), esp with the weight of the goat, and your intention for nitrous.

A custom cam will not be much more than an off-the-shelf cam and will likely give you better driveability, fuel economy, idle, etc.

A custom grind has crossed my mind more than once, just didn't know how much more I would get out of one over an off-the-shelf cam. I'm guessing PatG is pretty much the guy to go with when it comes to custom spec'd cams?
