Default 5.3 crank in an LS2

will it work? basically im considering swapping an ls2 shortblock for my ls1 and i know the reluctor wheels are different. i need the 24 not the 58 tooth. will be using everythig else off the ls1

Yes it will work with the correct reluctor wheel and You'll need to have the rotating assembly balanced because the LS2 or 3's pistons are a little heavier ,,,,,,,,,enough that the bob weights on the cranks are a little different between the 5.3L and the LS2 or 3
