? On melling oil pump!

? On melling oil pump! Hey what's up, I just bought a low mile melling 295 oil pump from a member on here and I noticed an extra hole on the upper left hand side of the pump when I compared it to my stock ls1 oil pump...what is the point of this extra hole? I am not sure if it needs a plug or what?!? Anyone else notice this? Thanks for the help!
