Stok 5.7L ls1 head gasket question I have a 98 block and CNC'd 98 heads. (This is my fourth motor ls1 motor build btw). Want to keep stock compression, and i know the the 97-98 "806" casts have the notch, but orielly's cross reference felpro for all 97&up ls1's as all the samewith no notch. Y is this?? I ordered some specific to 98 models from gm and they are side specific and have tabs on the sides of the gaskets. How do i know i have the right one, and will i have issues bolting up 99+ gaskets on my old style heads?? Help me please!!!! Please only answer if u r certain. Im frustrated as hell.
