I always hear people saying you need to swap out dual valve springs around a certain amount of miles, but its always a different amount. I dont think there is a solid answer for this question. So, how do you know when?
I have a ms3 cam with 7.425 pushrods and patriot performance gold .650 lift springs. They have been in my car for a little over 30k now and thats including 12 nitrous bottles in the last year between a 100 shot-150. The car still runs the same as the day they were installed.
whats your guys experience?

There isn't any set rule, you should have the springs checked for pressure. FWIW I haven't seen associated last much past 15k-20k miles with setups similar to yours without needing a spring change.
On a side note did you measure pushrod length? I'm surprised your setup needs such a long pushrod.

and I had a professional shop install my cam/valvetrain/oil pump. I bought those push rods (cause he said they would work) and when he did the install he spec'd them and I cant argue with how my car runs.

yea from what I have seen the patriot dual golds arent a very good spring compared to what they have now. If it was me I would put in some prc .650 springs and call it a day. Like said above the golds need to be changed within like 20k with that big of a cam and the prc's are saposed to be good to 50k++

I have a friend that had the prc .650's on his cammed/nitrous c6 and 2 broke with only 3k on them.
