trick flow
for a few years now Ive looked in the summit catalog and in the ls1 section is a heads/cam package put together by trick flow and the horsepower numbers are intriguing. I was wondering if anyone has tried this setup. the specs are not very specific but the price seems fair. just wondering if anyone has tried it and if they like or dislike

The heads are a proven design. Some think those cams leave something to be desired. I've never had one of their cams so I couldn't tell you. I personally wouldn't have a problem running one of their combos.

I can tell you I have only heard good things about your kits
Not to thread jack, but what heads would you recomend for an 8,000+ rpm 408 stroker, 12.5:1 CR, 8.22:1 dcr, 255/263 .624/.624 115lsa cam, Edelbrock proflo xt intake and 60lb injectors.
I want to stay with cathedral port heads, but not sure what size head to go with, and want to keep my compression up where it is, do I'd need a 56-58cc chamber, or a head that could be milled that far.

Also, right now I'm running heavily ported 241s milled down to 57cc chambers. What gains could I see over my current set up by doing a head swap to the "right" aftermarket head?

either way being at or over 500 hp at the crank is impressive for a weekend project. Are there any bottom end combos that would work well with the head/cam setup?

Hey redsilv, if it makes you feel any better I've had my setup for almost a year now, and still can't decide on heads lol.
Also is your user name saying that you have a red Nissan Sylvia with an ls swap?
