AFR 205 valve spring question

AFR 205 valve spring question
I have a question.
I now have a cam with EPS/LXL lobes and .608" lift.
I have both the 8017 and 8019 springs. Bought the 8019's for the .640 lift cam I am not using.
8017 springs ok for what I have now? Or should I install the 8019's. Maybe back off on the seat pressure a bit?
I'd rather not run more spring than I need to.

I ran the 8017 springs with my .609 lift cam and it seemed fine althou not recommended. Since you have both, I would run the 8019 springs. The weight of the valves in the AFR heads are alittle heavy and need more spring pressure at higher lifts.

Given that the 8019 is a higher quality spring wire, I agree with you guys that it is the better choice.
I just hope they don't beat up the LS7 lifters. Been a lot of stories about that of late.
Of course I could just pop for some titanium valves! Ha!
Thanks,
Ron
