Default ls2 intake on ls1?

does anyone out there know if an ls2 intake would be better than a ls6 for my ls1 car?

The ls6 is the best performing stock intake.

True, but the LS2 Intake flows just as good + it has provision for a 90MM TB ?

Who said the LS2 flows just as good? Have you seen the inside of both? Look at the inside of a cut-away of the runners and tell me it flows just as good.

If it's a 90mm TB you want, get a TPIS LS6.

Even that's a waste of money. Lol the money you'll spend on either getting an ls6 with a 90mm inlet or getting an ls2 ported isnt worth the minimal gains. The ls1 is what 15 years old? The ls2 is 8 years old. This topic has been discussed plenty of times. Not pointed at you whigham. Lol I mean for them

Oh, no, I completely agree whole-hreartedly with your post. It's a waste, and that money would be better served going towards a fast.

By the time you outrun an LS6's capabilities, you'll need a fast anyways.

LS6 /thread.

If you really want a 90mm, a well ported LS2 will flow just about the same as a stock LS6. But at that point, you're into the $400+ range on just the intake. A little more and you can probably score a used FAST and make more power.

Agree with these guys, just spend a little more and get a fast.
