Default spin bearing or cracked flywheel.??????

well i finally got my tnt f2 kit hook up and pill it for 150 shot had 93 pump gas in it timing was 23-25* ...only run 1/8th made three passes and i guess it spin a rod bearing or cracked the flywheel because it knocking ....had good oil pressure 60-70...u guy thinkg it's a bearing or my buddy said he cracked his stock flywheel also.... but it was hooking for a stock car no cam just 3400 rev max converter, ls6 intake,long tubes, 3" all the way out, 9" rear with 4:11 gears, adjustable rear,shocks,phb,lcr's... times was

It's not too bad yankin the tranny to check the flywheel. I have had a few friends with cracked Ls1 flywheels....
Car is launching hard! Could really use a BMR swaybar out back......

If its a 2001 or 2002 my bet is it cracked the flex-plate,as they are weaker than the 98-2000.If you pull the starter out you can see pretty good at it,look at where the bolts attach to the converter,and crank.

Drain the oil and see if it looks metallic/silver. That will be a good indicator that you have spun a bearing.

Had a really nasty noise once upon a time and a few people thought it was a cracked flexplate, turned out to be a broke valve spring causing the limp valve to be smacked up by the piston...

Sounded like a gnome or something hitting a frying back with a ball-pean hammer...HARD.. in my motor..

You were'nt kiddin when You said it was hookin n launchin pretty good ,,,,,,,,no cam ? hhhmmm x2 for gettin some sway control ,,,,,,,if it launched any harder it just might flip ,,,,he he ,,,,Lol
