On a budget? Want a cam upgrade? If you can supply a spare cam core or afford the downtime, theres a company called delta camshaft in Washington state that will regrind your self supplied cam to any desired profile for cheap money+ shipping. Quoted a gen 3 cam regrind @ $93! So even if shipping is high your still likely going to be below $150. They will regrind even rusty cores (to a salvageable extent) and they can repair wiped lobes. Have you eye on a $400+ dollar name cam, or have a profile you like but wanna make some personalized changes? Heres a way to ball on a budget!

Website is Deltacam.com, buddy of mine has an rs Subaru quad dohc engine he had them regrind to a drag profile and it really comes alive at 3500rpm. Been beating on it for almost 5 years now

My apologies not meaning to advertise or anything, Im not affiliated or sponsored by them and gain nothing out of this. I work in a factory in Maine and just like playing around with cars, just wanted to put out a friendly word as I noticed alot of posts about cam upgrades and budgets. Just figured its the same as someone ranting or advocating for their name brand parts....
