Just bought my 99 Trans Am the car is basically stock except for a slp lid and a custom tune. I also picked up some slp long tube headers with a Y pipe. I don't know what muffler to add with the headers. I want the most power again, I was looking at the borla XR1 muffler.... also the car wont have cats when the headers are installed. What would sound the best with the most performance gain on my car?

first take the slp lts back. worst hedders ever. go with stainless works or kooks... then worry about mufflers. the slp lts are mild steel and will rust.. not to mention 1 & 3/4 ...you want 1 & 7/8.. just IMO...
