Default oil pump recommendation

Putting together a fresh rebuild. Motor is pretty much stock except for cam and heads. Going to be mostly street driven. Saw a ported ls6 piece on summit, but figured I would ask around prior to pulling the trigger. Thanks.

If You do go with a GM oil pump ,,,,,just make sure and keep her under 6500rpm's as the GM pumps pressure drops off like a rock at 6500 and above . The Mellings pressure continues to build up to 8000rpm's .

The new mexican made ls6 pumps look like trash inside. I returned mine and bought a melling. I'd rather run a used Canadian made pump than a new mexican one.
