THe build is a 5.3 ho w 23,000 miles.

It will either be 317 high compression ported heads 11.2 comp

or

317 stock w new patriot springs. 9.5 ish compression

cam specs: 228 232 594 574 114 lsa

Ported Fast 92 current or going to a TPIS prepped ls6

Procharger P1sc

E85 and a 91 oct tune ( have hp tuners)

Im wanting to get around 600 + whp through a m6

With the supercharged I would normally go with the 9:1 comp but since your using e85 I would go with the 11.2:1 for more power

9.5:1 would be fine with an iron block but if you have aluminum then 9:1 to be safe on pump gas

not running pump. Most of the time it will be corn. Just getting a pump tune in a pinch

E85 will be fine with high comp. No need to go down to 9.1 at all or even 9.5

Are you going to bore the block or stock cubes ? If not, 317's are going to drop your compression way to low for street driving. I'm around 9.4:1 and next time I build a motor I'm going to shoot for 10:1 compression. The car is not as snappy out of boost as it was with stock compression. If you are going to forge the rods/pistons and tune it on corn you'll have no problems at 10:1 compression.
