I just got my block back from the machine shop and I took a look at the camshaft bearings and I can't see the oil passage thought the holes. It looks like the clocking on all of them are wrong.

I think I should be ok having them remove and reinstall them right? I don't need to bring them a new set of bearings do I?

if they messed up I think they would cover the bearings.

i would take it back and tell them re-install them the correct way with new bearings.

I have two holes on each cam bearing. Is it possible that you're looking through the hole on each cam bearing which does not line up with the oil delivery?
How is the cam bearing hole oriented on your engine?

I think now I might be mistaken. Is it true that only one hole on each cam bearing will line up the the oil groove. If so than the bearings appear to be installed properly. I just assumed that both holes were supposed to line up with a grove. I'll check in the morning and get back to you with a picture and the orientation angle.

If the block is upside down and you're looking at it from the front the oiling hole in the bearing should be between the 9 and 10 o'clock position. If it's a Durabond bearing it will have two holes, one of them not being used. I just installed a set today. There is no groove behind the cam bearing like in a traditional SBC.
