"The 237cc Texas Speed heads were dedicated castings that offered not only exceptional flow numbers but also additional head boltholes for use on the aftermarket LSX blocks. If you go looking to make a serious turbo motor with a set of cathedral-port heads, the extra clamping force offered by these extra bolts might be just what you need. The TS heads combined a 2.10/1.60 valve package with a 238/85cc port volume package to maximize airflow. Next to the AFR 245 heads, the TS heads offered the highest 0.500-lift flow numbers. Power production was every bit as impressive, and the average numbers were bettered only by the Trick Flow GenX head."
So PRC offers virtually equal power as the TFS heads and more than the AFR's for less money than both! Hard to argue with independent test results, although I'm sure some will

Not saying anything bad about any of the heads so don't think I am. I'm just arguing Matt's statement lol.
OP, its pretty much brand loyalty here. They all perform great.

Just lock this thread now becuase we all know that's where it's going. All of these threads where people ask "which is the better head" end up with a bunch of ******* bickering back and forth and provide hardly any "real world" numbers. My suggestion for you is to search on here for each prespective head and gather as much info as you can and make your decision based on that, your budget, your goals, etc. All three heads are great and you can't really go wrong with any of them.

Do you own the cam or is it what you picked out? Typically it is better to select the heads first, then the cam. Was cam designed around this much N2O? Should be a hell of a ride if you can get any traction.

On a 3.9" bore I dont believe any manufacturer has anything that can touch the PRC 227 heads. Remember the PRC 227 heads are available setup as a 3.9" bore. We basically set out to build the best max effort 3.9" bore head available.
