Question some input needed on cam or FI

Currently saving up some funds on the side to get a cam swap done on my fireturd. Currently it has only a LID and tune. I have an LS6 intake and SLP headers sitting and ready to be installed when warmer weather arrives. Ls1 Motor/4l60e trans has ~80k miles. Im getting a 12 bolt rearend w/3.73 gears this weekend from RPM and plan on getting a 3k to 3200 stall and a rebuilt trans later this year. Will also be doing some suspension mods like rear control arms and a bit of weight reduction.

My plans for the car is either shoot for either ~415whp or be able to trap consistent 117-120mph. with those trap speeds I imagine an aggressive cam would be in order? I was thinking about getting the CC LSR that HP-Addicts is doing for their cam swap special but don’t know if the LSR will yield over 400whp through an auto trans. Was thinking going forced induction with a D1SC and run a conservative 6-7lb of boost w/meth injection and intercooler which I believe would net over 400whp on stock bottomend. Need some input and suggestions 

To get the numbers you are shooting for you will probably want closer to a 4,000 rpm stall, and a high 23x cam shaft with milled heads to bump your compression up.

Planning on running stock heads only. Don't want to go too high a stall, maybe as high as 3600 stall. more thoughts?

I agree with this ^ don't be afraid of "over stalling", and run a high quality converter like Yank....$1,000 sounds like a lot of moneywhen you can get them for $300-400, but when a cheap converter goes it will most likely take your yranny out with it....ask me how I know
