What do you guys think about the TR TruTORQ Level 2?
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"TR TRuTorq" Level 2 - 223/230 .609/.604 115 LSA 1800-6500 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Good bottom end and mid-range torque. Requires computer tuning. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.
I wonder if it puts out the torque like it says. I don't want a huge cam. I'm looking for bottom to mid range power, strong torque, and DD manners. The high lift scares me though, i don't want to be replacing valve springs often.
Any thoughts?

It has stock manifolds, stock cats, borlamouth with y pipe.
It has stock 241 heads but planning to port them, or stock 243's. Money for one or the other.
And its M6
Stock 3:42 gears
Everything else stock except lid

IMO, have your 241s ported and milled and go with a EPS TT2, 218/226 113lsa.

I noticed that you have recomended this cam in several posts. What is your reason? Is it from personal experience? If so, what was your experience and results? Also it was made for 4.8's and 5.3's how well is it in a 5.7? Thanks.

True torque is a great street cam. I've had a cam that was close to the specs of the true torque and it was a lot of fun on the street. I would upgrade your exhaust first before I got a cam.

some pac 1518 springs will last a long time with that cam.look at comp 54-455-11 for more low end power.or look at a small EPS cam ,222/226.

2000MaroonZ28, the EPS cam lobes should be easier on you valvetrain, and the smaller duration (TT2, 218/226 113lsa) should give you more of what you're looking for.
BTW, I've never had that cam.
