-PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 CNC ported heads from TSP

-233/239 .595"/.603 camshaft it has a 232/234 .595.598 now but wanting the 233 one

-4000 stall

-ls6 intake

150 shot wet

how would those heads be with the 233 cam im trying to get the best bang for my buck now i have a tv2 cam in the car now with stock heads and stock intake and 3600 stall and im going bigger everything but not TOO big tell me your opinions if i should change anything up or if this is good enough?

i can sell the cam to my friend if the 233 is better so what would be a good price on the tv2 with 1000 miles

It will run the same as all the other 5 million cars that have the same exact combo, provided its assembled and tuned properly.

The stock short block isn't gonna like H/C and a 150 shot. And for a 150 shot I'd keep the 3600 converter.

Probably not worth the money for cam swap. Your 150 shot isn't really enough to benefit from the extra exhaust duration, which is all you are really getting....I'd guess < 5hp difference.

Wait where did 383 come from? Surprise attack I guess.

If more cubes is an option it should get chosen!

No need for a cam swap. But the the 233-239 can rev higher and get more hp outta it. More cube is the way to go if you can... 408/418CI FTW!

You wont hardly see any gains going from a TV2 to the 233/239. Now if you stepped up to like the MS3 or MS4 then i would opt for it. But i would keep that TV2 and the spray.

The heads & cam will be a decent combo.. Make sure you got the right supporting mods to go along with them & the 150 shot. Fuel pump, injectors, tune & at least a BR7EF plug

TR-6's are good for a n/a set-up with a lil high comp, but they are a projected tip plug, not ideal for nitrous. 42lb injectors should be fine & I like the Deatchwerks 300 pump.

Do you think port and polished 243s would be better then the stage 2.5 5.3 heads?

5.3 and a larger cam,, supporting mods and spray.... DEAD ON tune. Basicically tho, state your price range stick to and go from there. A well built ls1 will perfom as well as the 383.
