Ahh yea... Lol. out of ls motor? Wich lobe? I bought a stock l92 with the very first lobe like that. How common? Anyone? Anything to prevent happening again?

Looks like it wasn't properly hardened after it was ground....I've had this happen on a "fresh copy" cam I bought off of eBay for $120 after less than 10,000 miles were on it....no noise and didn't notice a lack of performance. Just pulled it out to swap to a bigger cam and found the lobes looked just like that.
