Default new engine assembly questions

My new GM LS1 long block is here and ready for new cam and heads. Question is do I put in Katech or ARP rod bolts or leave the factory ones in?
this is a new 2002 Goodwrench long block and has the upgraded bolts. Ive had two machine shops tell me to leave them alone and a couple of sponsers on here tell me the same thing, I will be only spinning 6500RPM Max and at the track couple of times a year. what do you think
