I noticed that the oil pressure gauge goes all the way up to 80..but on my dash display it says its 130psi..does anyone else have this problem? Or had anything similar happen to them??

lol thats too much gl op might be a bad oil presure sensor its reading to high

Yep ... oil pressure sensor has failed. Very common issue talked about on the Corvette chat boards. You might want to go there and read the many DIY replacement threads for the oil pressure sensor.

Do a search for oil pressure sensor.
