Default Tsp V2 with 1 5/8 primarys

Hey im still deciding and may need a little help in choosing one of the 3 cams, either 224r,228r or v2.Now my ls1 has the usual bolt ons atm with 1 5/8 4-1 mid tubes with 2.75''collector ,high flow cats into twin 2 1/2 exhaust,otr,m6 and 3.9 rear. Now i dont want to change the headers as they are ceramic coated and like the sound the exhaust produces but if i choose the Tsp V2 232/234 will i be leaving power on the table or would i benifit the smaller cam with my combo and make similar power.Car is a weekender.

cheers

You won't get the most out of it, but you won't be losing that much power with the smaller primaries

I have a camtech 228/228 .598 112 ive had sitting here for a couple of years but so undecided whether to use it.And the 228r is so popular hense the reason i was going to go that way.I no the 232/234 would be great as maybe go with a set of 243s or some cnc 241s down the track.I dont want to start changing my exhaust set up again.

I'm not trying to be an *** but the headers you have are not very good in any aspect. Your gonna need new ones eventually anyway as the cermic coat will fade away eventually so you might as well just buy some real 1 3/4 LT's. You're gonna leave a good amount of power on the table with 1 5/8'' and the 2 3/4 primaries. Headers for f-body's are cheap. You will like the sound of them just as much as the ones you have now. I take it you don't wanna pay the labor cost or do it yourself to have them put on?

Yeah i may now consider the bigger set of LTs,no drama for fitting as i can do that and i have a mig.Another thing to add to the list.
