Default Yella Terra Twin shaft vs "bolt on" rockers

I've been looking at various rockers for the past few days, and have decided that the Yella Terra Ultralites look like the way to go for my application. I'm undecided on the "bolt on" version , or the twin-shaft version.

What are the pros/cons of these two choices?

The twin shaft YT6645 are bolt on...?
The twin shaft will flex a lot less than a single stud mounted rocker, if that's what you are wanting to know.

No...the 6638 is a bolt on. I was thinking that the 6638 would be easier to set individual swipe, and that the 6640 (twin shaft) would be more of a "compromise" on swipe pattern between the two valves. Any thoughts?

I thought all the YT LSX engine rockers are twin shaft? The only difference I see listed is that the 6640's are stronger and can handle up to 500 lbs spring rates and cost more, and the 6638's handle up to 425 lbs and cost less.

Yeah, the 6640's are an adjustable twin shaft setup....the 6638's are an adjustable "bolt on"/stud style...like how the factory ones bolt on.

My main concern is being able to get the swipe perfect. The added stability of the shaft-mounted setup would just be GREAT if I was able to get it all dialed in the way that I want it.

6645s are best and lightest. You have to buy right pushrods after checking to get what preload you want.

Indeed, but I'm wanting adjustable rockers...so the 6640's appear to fit the bill. I'm going to be building another engine in the somewhat-near future, and will want the option to transfer them to that build.

Sorry but I think you're wrong, I have yet to find anything that states that the 6638's bolt on individually, but plenty that states the 6638's are shaft mounted just like the 6640's are. So then I'd just get the 6638's unless you need that additional strength to run up to 500lbs springs.

S-D was listing that as being the difference....I'll have to do some double checking! LOL
