Default Trunnion upgrade geometry

I got the stock cam and valve geometry. I recently bought trunnion upgrade and noticed a difference in approx. 1/8" (.125) in the distance to the thread when the bolt is in the rocker. I know the lifter preload would absorb some of the difference, but I'm almost tempted to buy .125 shims to bring back to stock geometry. What are your thoughts?

IMO is a non issue as the bolt has to go thru the rocker stand before it even gets to the threads that are in the head.

As long as the rocker is sitting on the stand correctly, your geometry should not change.

the geomety does not change as the trunion upgrade has the bolt coutersunk in the trunion which makes the bolt stick out the bottom farther that is one of the reasons they give you shorter bolts just use the bolts that come in the kit and you will be fine

You are using the new bolts that came with the Trunnion Kit ... right? Do NOT use the stock rocker bolts.
