Default Rockers and lifters ???'s

I'm looking to put the TSP 231/237 cam with a set of PP Stage 2 Ls6 heads in my Z28. I was wondering if the heads came with rockers or if not should I upgrade them and the lifters??

Thanks.

no the heads dont come with rockers. you'll need to use your stock ones or buy some aftermarket ones. as far as the lifters seeing as how you have an 02 with i'd assume normal mileage i wouldnt worry about them.

Yeah right now just shy of 14k miles. Is there an advantage to aftermarket rockers??

Thanks.

People seem to think there is, but you rarely actually see any advantage. The only reason to swap rockers if if you need/want to increase the ratio, need adjustable rockers, or need a more stable valvetrain (decrease deflection, etc). The stock rockers are a very good piece and do a good job.
