Default cam and intake swap on 5.3 what should i expect?

On an 01 5.3 swapping to a 02-04 z06 cam and ls1 intake/tb, what should I expect power/tq wise?

I would say about 315/345 with that setup. If you can get an Ls6 intake 10/15 more hp.

The ls6 intake will have to wait unless I can find one on the cheap.

if you don't have a cam yet look at the ls hot or ASA cam for more power.

Don't expect anything great. Even the Z06 cam is on the small side. Do some homework in the Dyno section and compare similar combos. So generic 5.3 can have power levels all over the place. There more that goes into it than just "5.3 with cam and intake"

The truck intakes fit in s10's and you can pick up them up all over the place. Most people don't post them for sale because they don't sell for poop, but find some craigslist ads with 5.3 or 6.0 parts for sale and ask them if they have one laying around.
