Default 10s in my future?

i have a 99 ws6 with cam/boltons/150shot

the car made 415rwhp/418rwtq on motor and my spray tune should be in the next coming week so we'll see what she makes on the 150 shot. (hopefully over 550rwhp/600rwtq but well see)

i would be launching on slicks and skinnies with a dana60 rear (4.10s/detroit locker) and front sway bar removed.

suspension mods:

Kenny Brown Double Diamond Subframe Connectors
BMR Strut Tower Brace
UMI Adjustable Pan Hard Bar
Eibach LT1 Pro-Kit Lowering Springs
Koni Sport Adjustable Shocks (Koni Yellows - 4/3 Package)
BMR Poly/Poly Adjustable Lower Control Arms (Rear)

first off, im curious if i can expect to pull the front wheels if i can get the launch rpm correct?

second, should i expect to at least make it into the 10s?

thanks guys!

Mike

I say 10's are feasible. Whats your race weight? Do you have an aftermarket Torque Arm? I may have missed it.

Truck stop weighed me in at ~3700 with a half tank and some things in the car so I would say race weight would sit around 3600 when I pull my seats and spare tire/etc. also torque arm is stock but I'll be moving to a body mounted torque arm when I get around to installing the rear.

With the right launch you just might hit the 10's. Lower control ARM relocation brackets will really help plant the rest too....get the back of the ARM under the rear as low as possible.

The car's race weight is a concern and you need to add the weight of safety equipment regardless of your plans as either your going to get kicked out or simply another guy with power that is certed at best for a 12.99.

Also some of the mods you listed under "Suspension"

suspension mods:

Kenny Brown Double Diamond Subframe Connectors "Chassis"
BMR Strut Tower Brace "Chassis" also does not help 1/4
UMI Adjustable Pan Hard Bar "Suspension for Road Racing"
Eibach LT1 Pro-Kit Lowering Springs "Suspension" Debateable if it helps
Koni Sport Adjustable Shocks (Koni Yellows - 4/3 Package) "Suspenion" Need better
BMR Poly/Poly Adjustable Lower Control Arms (Rear) "Chassis/Suspenion" Adjustible LCA brackets??

There is NO right RPM.

Rev to max, let it fly and if the car does not work, you need to look at tire compound, suspension, 2 step, gearing, race weight. Also you should get a scatter shield.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/eastern-m...ay-new-pb.html

I picked up wheels, but worked so good that it was bouncing off the rear and un loading. The pic missed the right wheel had bout 1 foot and the left even higher. Since then I spent money on tons of mods, look to get back soon. Had cancer and kinda put a lot of **** on the back burner.

Last note: never expect anything, just get out there and do test hits and make sure your cutting good 60 foots and the car is leaving straight. Do a 50 - 100 - 150 hits and make sure your not going to send it into the wall.
