Default Crank sprocket and Windage tray bolts...Help ASAP

Got my shortblock back today!! However i never took the crank sprocket off. I tried using a 2 jaw puller, but didn't really try too hard as i didn't want to mess anything up. How hard do i need to crank on it? Can i use some heat at all? Kind of worried about using heat as the assembly lube is right on the 1st bearing there....Thoughts?

And now this...I remember keeping the windage tray nuts on the main bolts when i brought it in. When i unwrapped the block they weren't there. Called the shop and he looked all over and couldn't find them. Can i use grade 10.9 nuts? Or are they available from GM?

Thanks!

There is a specific Kent Moore tool to remove the sprocket. Its a 10 second job with it. I tried to use a two jaw and all it did was waste my day!

As for the nuts, they are top lock nuts. I think they are grade 10.9 but I will have to check . GM sells them too, but $$$ for a nut.

I've searched for the tool and all i found was this, but i can't find anywhere to purchase it. I already have a puller like that, just looking for the steel piece around the sprocket

Alright, just looked, the Nuts say "10" on them. They are 8mm threaded nuts.

I used a basic 3-jaw puller from Autozone and it worked perfect.

I tried the Zone too, but there was not enough room back there. I couldnt get stay on the gear with pressure. The Kent Moore tool worked flawlessly assured no damage to the sprocket too.
