Default How likely is it that i will have PTV issue with this cam?

Cam specs are...

231/238 on 114

gross valve lift... Intake .617 Exhaust .615

duration @ .006 tappet lift... Intake 281 Exhaust 290...

Stock pistons... stock stroke...

Heads will be decked no more than 10 thou and will have either a set of 2.08/1.64's or 2.02/1.60's

I know i wont know for sure till its all bolted up and checked... but i need to atleast have an idea...

Thanks guys.

You'll be good. I'm running a bigger cam than yours listed and my heads are milled more than yours and I don't have any issues (i'm also on stock pistons/ bottom end).

What gasket thickness?...I'd say that it's too close to call.

Please dont attempt to put a 2.08 valve on a stock cube motor.. You will do more harm than good & probably kiss the cylinder wall with that size of valve.. The intake duration really isn't that big & the 114 lsa will help give you a lil more clearance, but it's always best to measure ptv after milling the heads.

motor ran like this for at least 60k miles... still see the cross hatches in the cylinder walls...

car also ran a 12.9 with a lid and exhaust and a failing slave cylinder...
