Are they FAST fuel rails? And if so, did the fuel line come with it?

I suggest sealant (liquid or thin putty) rather than the pipe tape.

bad fitting/line, shouldn't be a hole there .. if you bought this new i would be calling for a replacement. no thread sealant will fix that and if by chance it does its just a band-aid

Question ???

1. You DO NOT use pipe dope or tape, on an AN fitting.
2. That "hole" is a lock pin to lock the fitting together.
3. It appears that you have a cheapo crimped hose fitting that's in a bind. Leaving that braided line lying on the surrounding parts will chew them up.
4. Can't tell from the first pic, but it looks like the fitting is screwed onto the rail fitting so far that it's bottomed out. Y/n?? WTF did you use to tighten it, a pipe wrench??
4. What is that squeezed out between the rail and the fitting? An o'ring?

A lot of AN fittings have that hole. This one is defective on the inside. Just get a new fitting or line, as required. DON'T use any sealant. You should never use sealant on a flare fitting.

op just call fast and tell them its leaking from the pin hole they'll probably send you another one, do not use pipe sealant or tape for the an fittings, with my fast fuel rail where the fuel line hooks up to the rail i had to really tighten the **** out of it to stop leaking from the threads

This old geezer agrees with that old geezer.

AN fittings go together dry. The wrench marks make me think you over tightened it. These do not get gorilla tightened.

And your using the wrong tool. Those look like plier marks!!! If it were sent back for warranty , youll probably have to explain the marks. A wrench is all you need, and it doesnt have to be super tight.

Using the wrong tools might possibly have something to do with your "luck" here...
