Default Reviving a Stored Engine

Everyone I have a 5.3 liter LM7 that has been sitting for two years. My question is; what is the best way to ensure the rotating assembly has been protected? Or what is the best way to protect it from damage being that all the rotating assembly is possibly dry?
Thanks in advance

I'd take all the plugs out and go get a quart of Marvels Mystery Oil and dump a little bit in each cylinder and let it sit for however long. then when you go to start the motor crank it over with the fuel disconnected and spark plugs out until the oil is out of the cylinders. then put the plugs back in and connect fuel and fire her up!

Yep that sounds like a plan.

It would be a good investment to verify that your injectors are not plugged up, either fully, or partially, from old fuel.
